INTERNET ACCESS IMPROVES YAUN CO. CUSTOMER SERVICE
As Yaun Co. moves into the 21st century in regards to the computer world, access to the Internet has greatly improved the levels of customer service that can be provided. Being able to offer good quality, high levels of help to our customers has long been a Yaun Co. strength and one of the major benefits of "doing business" with us and Internet access improves on this benefit. The Internet has allowed fast answers to the query "When will my special order be coming to me?" or "Can you get me spec info on the product you are quoting?" In years past, researching questions like these often took one or more telephone calls to check order status or waiting around for a manufacturer to fax, if not mail, requested information. Many times, because of the time factor involved, we would have to "get back" to our customers which, as we all know, always takes a few telephone calls before actually catching up with them and going over the requested information. Having access to the Internet has made this process much faster providing a major service to our customers. Now we can get on the manufacturer's website and check product availability, costs, and the status of our order all at the click of our "mouse". With this access at our fingertips (we utilize the same PC's that are used to enter customer orders and Yaun Co. purchase orders), the time factor has been greatly diminished and we are often able to offer answers immediately to our customers. This eliminates many "get back to you" replies saving our customers time, which we all know means MONEY! Another benefit of the Internet is better quality specification ("spec") material. Yaun Co. no longer has to wait for a rep to fax a photocopied piece of literature or information. We can download product material and get a much better, more readable copy than one that has been faxed to us, providing our customers with valuable information to make a sale or "trouble-shoot" a piece of equipment. Again, in timely fashion for us and our customers. Currently, the electric department is "logged on" with several of our major manufacturers including Square D, Honeywell and Progress Lighting. "Surfing the Web" gives us access to any company who has developed a website as well so we don't necessarily have to buy from a company to get information on their products. The Internet provides Yaun Co with valuable tools that help us help our customers! Let our fingers and our mouse help with your needs!
