Heatlink Radiant Seminar
Once again as we have done since our association with HeatLink began, we recently held two days of radiant heating schools for our contractors. Mike Skoldberg from Mechanical Marketing provided the instruction at both the school in Liberty and also in the Clarion Hotel in Newburgh. For those who were unable to attend the sessions, these schools were designed to be more advanced than a basic radiant heating school. The seventy or so participants heard what's new in radiant heating as well as evolving philosophies. Proper piping arrangement and sizing as well as mixing valve selection was presented. How to use the latest computer program was reviewed. The correct use of the right chemicals to treat the radiant system was discussed. We thank Mechanical Marketing and HeatLink for allowing Yaun Company to provide this much appreciated instruction in the most complete, easiest and contractor friendly radiant space heating system.
Keep checking this publication for announcements of what schools are next.

Riello School…a Treasure
Another Riello Certification School is scheduled for May 25th at the Yaun Company training room from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This certification school will be for the Riello gas burner. If you would be interested in attending this 5 hour class ask Peggy or your local salesman to register you. Registration fee is $40.00 per person, $35.00 for two or more from the same company. Seating is limited. Expect the usual delicious lunch and snacks that Peggy arranges. Yaun Company recently held a Riello oil burner certification 6 hour class. The attendance was terrific and the information provided was all you would need to thoroughly service a Riello oil burner. Instructor and Area Manager Elbert Niles provided enlightened instruction that otherwise might become slightly ho-hum. This class provided for the attendees an opportunity to become certified after successfully completing a post-class test. Mr. Niles instructed the contractors in the proper procedures to test for adequate power, motor condition, terminal contacts, oil valve coil, cad cell and control condition, with an emphasis on safety. The importance of having a serviceman's emergency kit readily available was stressed. This kit allows for the serviceman to put any F5/10 burner back in operation in a hurry.
Yaun Company currently offers some Peerless and Weil McLain Boilers with the option of using Riello Oil Burners; ask your salesperson!
