We have been talking about the new 90+ gas furnace model M3 over the last few months. Now this new furnace is in many new manufactured homes.
This furnace offers the homeowner a major saving on his gas bill. When you're doing a furnace change-out, make sure you offer your customer the new 90+ furnace which can be vented vertical or horizontal with PVC pipe. When you are changing out an old M series furnace, we stock a kit which allows you to take off the chimney cap and install this kit which allows you to use the old chimney as a chase. The kit comes with two end cap type fittings which allows the PVC pipe to pass up though. No need to open up the roof to install a new flashing.
Another great feature offered with this furnace is three return air options. The standard is the return on the furnace door, the second is a kit which allows the return to enter the top of the furnace, and the third is a side return air kit which allows the return to go horizontal through a side wall. The top return is a great fix for the person who doesn't like the noise, now the opening is facing up towards the ceiling so the noise is projected there.
