Waterless Urinals….

It's hard for me to believe that waterless urinals work without offending anyone's olfactory nerves.  That being said, these fixtures are being installed.  A recent test conducted by the Oregon Parks & Recreation Department  showed no detectable or barely detectable levels of ammonia in the waterless urinals.

The potential benefits from such fixtures can be substantial.  When one figures the cost of supplying water and disposing of the waste water from a heavily used public facility, the numbers mount.  In addition, the ground water not used can be put to better use elsewhere.  Drain fields are not overly taxed and the effluent pollution into drainage systems is reduced.

Gas GuardÔ

Many of you have been asking for a soft copper tube with a yellow protective coating to be used as gas lines.  We are happy to say that we now have this product in stock. Currently ¼ x 60' and 3/8" x 60' are on hand.  We are also stocking 3/8" x 50' with a red protective coating that signifies fuel oil.

No special training or tools are required.  Standard flaring process is used for the connections.         Code: CTBC01LC60LGAS, CTBC01LE60LGAS, CTBC01LE50L01L

Electrical Licensing

I  have been reminded that doing electrical work within Sullivan County except in very specific instances requires an electrical license.  Included is not just major electrical work but also somewhat limited jobs such as repairing electrical wire; controls and servicing oil burners; domestic water pumps; air conditioning units and other activities.
A Limited Electrician License can be obtained to permit the performing of the above mentioned jobs.
