Increased Efficiency for Vitodens 200 Boiler Qualifies for Tax Credit The Vitodens 200 gas-fired condensing boiler reached a new maximum efficiency during a recent GAMA verification retesting. The boiler achieved an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (A.F.U.E.) of 95.2% in all sizes. This places the Vitodens 200 amongst the most efficient residential gas-firing condensing boilers on the market. The new A.F.U.E efficiency rating qualifies customers who purchase and install a Vitodens 200 for a personal tax credit, under the Energy Policy Act of 2005 by the US Government. Consumers who purchase a replacement boiler with and A.F.U.E. of 95% or higher between Jan. 1 2006 and Dec. 31, 2007 are eligible for a federal tax credit of $150. Vitodens 200 boilers currently marked with an A.F.U.E . of up to 94.2% at wholesale locations or installed after Jan. 1, 2006 are also eligible for the tax credit.
