RHEEM HOME GENERATOR SCHOOL HELD
On Wednesday, November 29, Yaun Co. held a training class on the Rheem SEREGEN Home Generator Systems. The class, which covered product sizing, installation and wiring, was presented by Bill Szarowicz from Briggs + Stratton and Wayne Lewis of Rheem.
The SEREGEN line of automatic standby generator systems is manufactured for Rheem by Briggs + Stratton and is a perfect complement to the Rheem/Ruud heating and air-conditioning products currently sold by Yaun Co.
Photo shows Bill Szarowicz demonstrating the sturdily built cabinet for the generator, finished with a powder paint for permanent outdoor installation. All SERGEN models run on either LP or natural gas and come supplied with a battery, synthetic oil and installation pad and are “broken in” from the factory for “ready to go” operation.
Twenty attendees were involved in the training class. A GEN25B 15kw generator and transfer switch with a power management system was on display, compliments of Rheem. This was one of the many training/technical schools sponsored by Yaun Co every year. In 2007, over 300 customers were trained by our vendor representatives and instructors.
