Weil McLain Repair Notice for Combination pressure/temperature Gauge

For those of you who may need to replace a combination pressure/temperature gauge on a GV, CGs, CGi, CGa, CGT gas boiler or a WGO & WTGO oil boiler, note that the new gauge offered by WEIL will come with a black iron bushing ½” x ¼”. The “old” self-sealing well will need to be removed from the piping and replaced with the black iron bushing. The Service Bulletin: MB-0716 says that attempting to install the new gauge in the old well will damage both the gauge and the well.
