Yaun Co Hosts ASHRE EXPOSITION Bus Trip

Yaun Co. and Selkirk Metalbestos sponsored a trip to the AHR (Air Conditioning • Heating • Refrigerating) Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention Center on January 22nd and 23rd. Seventy five contractors traveled with us comfortably on Avery buses. The Expo featured 1,850 exhibits and 72 educational sessions covering a world of Equipment, Systems, Components and Technology for the Air-Condntioning, Heating, Refrigeration and Ventilation industry. The newest and the best products are brought together into one place from around the globe. The solutions to tomorrow’s major industry challenges were there to see, touch and learn about: energy efficiencies, energy saving and reclaiming, building control and automation, green building design and sustainability, indoor air quality, and alternative energy sources. Selkirk Metalbestos had a very large end aisle booth displaying products from small pellet vent to very large commercial vents. They were also displaying the larger sizes of Type L vent products which we will talk more about in our next YaunCo. report. This trip gave everyone the chance to become acquainted with factory staff and express concerns about products or service and also see what new products are coming in the future. Our guests took advantage of free educational presentations. To name a few, HVAC design for security and sustainability; selling efficiency to the customer; Energy Star; wireless sensor and control networks. We walked miles and miles to see some of the most fascinating products new to our industry, and all could not be seen in one just one day.
