Monte Carlo (#55) on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series race circuit,
enjoyed a successful campaign in 2001. Among his highlights for
the year include:
o Won the Talladega 500 (April 22, Talladega, Alabama), notching
the first victory for sponsor SQUARE D and owner Andy Petree;
o Was the only driver to complete all 36 events (the overall leader
with no DNFs (Did Not Finish race) with 53 finishes is the late
Dale Earnhardt;
o Posted an 18th place finish in the 2001 NASCAR Winston Cup contest,
the highest ranking ever for SQUARE D and Andy Petree Racing;
o Had seven Top 10 finishes while earning $2,246,204.
o Bobby and SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC's #55 car enjoyed a fine NASCAR
Winston Cup Series year in 2001. A NASCAR veteran,
o Bobby was named "Rookie of the Year" for 1991 and
has 20 Top 5 and 62 Top 10 finishes since.
