Recently on March 17, 18 and 19th Richard Yaun Jr. and I had the pleasure of enjoying the hospitality of the Viessmann boiler company and Paul Ross Associates at the North American headquarters in Waterloo, Canada. The Viessmann Company believes in doing everything "first class" be it hospitality or be it product.
Monday and Tuesday were spent in their training facility receiving intense instruction into the "Viessmann" or European way of installing energy efficient heating equipment and systems. Viessmann makes more boilers than all of the North American production combined. Its safe to say that nothing on the market today can compare to their Vitola 200 series of oil fired boilers and some of their hi-efficiency gas boilers.
While the demand for Viessmann boilers by informed homeowners is increasing dramatically, the Company very much wants to control the rate of growth in North America. Only contractors who consistently perform exemplary work are encouraged to become involved with the selling and installation of Viessmann boilers. A commitment to attend one of their scheduled training seminars in either Canada or their soon to be opened premier training facility in Rhode Island are really essential to understanding the operation of the equipment and the philosophy behind their systems.
