ADVANCE Streamlines Electronic Ballast Choices

PHILIPS/ADVANCE TRANSFORMERS has “streamlined” their selection of electronic ballasts for T-8 lamps. The CENTIUM line of ballasts has a dual voltage rating (120-277v.) and replaces the single-rated (120 OR 277v) STANDARD models. This dual rating will allow contractors to “streamline” their inventories as well, since one ballast can be used for either voltage.

Electronic ballasts have always been energy-efficient, long-lasting and easy to install. The CENTIUM 1 and 2 lamp model (ICN2P32N35) has been designed in a compact size, measuring 9.5” L x 1.3” W x 1” H and weighing just .678 lbs., making it ideal for today’s low profile designer fixtures. The 3 and 4 lamp ballast (ICN4P32SC35) has industry-low dimensions of 9.5” L x 1.7” W x 1.18” H. Both have the same wiring configurations and mounting dimensions of standard size ballasts and are suitable for cold temperature jobs (0 degree starting capability).
