Rheem/Ruud Safety Recall Notice

Certain oil furnace models beginning with models numbers R0BF, R0PF, TZ0UP andTZ0DH are being voluntarily recalled for potential miswiring, which could pose a fire hazard. Brands involved include: Rheem, Ruud, and United Refrigeration Thermal Zone.

Affected oil furnaces were sold between January 2006 through December 2008. Only units with date codes ending in -0106-5206, -0107-5207, or 0108 through 4808 are affected.

For more information about the inspection and repair program contractors should contact Yaun Co. to determine if any furnaces they installed or have serviced are involved in the recall, and to receive instructions for inspecting and repairing such furnaces, if necessary.
