Let the Tax Credits Sell For You

What a way to give your customer a deal and you make a sale. The new Tax Credit will help you sell your customers more Energy Star products. Here are the products in the metal department which can help you build sales.

The Samsung AQV09J heat pump Mini Split is eligible for a 30% tax credit up to $1500. Now you can offer your customer a Samsung 9000 heat pump/ AC which is 20 seer, which will modulate from 3,100 – 11,900 Btu/h in cooling and 3,100 – 16,500 Btu/h in the heat pump mode. Your customer can enjoy the comfort this unit will provide and will also enjoy the tax credit.

The Rheem two stage 95% A.F.U.E. gas furnace is also eligible for a 30% tax credit up to $1500. The Rheem RGRL series is a two stage gas furnace. This unit is offered in three sizes a 45, 60,75 and 90,000 Btu/h input. This unit will keep your customer warm and will provide two stages of heat, firing at 70% capacity for low heat and 100% for high heat.

This model costs a little more than a one stage 90%. Many dealers are able to sell up with the two stage. Why give your customer an on/off unit when you can sell them a unit which will put out a lower capacity to meet the heat loss of the home? The little extra in cost over the price of a standard one stage 90% furnace will be very small compared to the tax credit your customer will receive.

The Rheem 16 SEER two stage air conditioning systems are also eligible for a 30% tax credit up to $1500. This model is available in 2, 3, 4 and 5 ton systems.

The Dornback 95% oil furnace is the only furnace, that I know of being made, which is eligible for a 30% tax credit. Install an oil fired 95% A.F.U.E. furnace, which after the tax credit, is about the same price as a standard oil furnace. Your customer may have a gas furnace now and no chimney, no problem. The Dornback furnace uses PVC vent pipe which also cuts down on cost. Offer your customer a unit which is now very affordable and will give them a fuel savings for years. Ask your salesman for literature.

We hope these few items will help you create some sales. You can now also make a few more dollars on your installation as the tax credit is 30% up to $1500. Your customer will be glad to see how much money their tax credit will be. Use this tax credit as a selling tool to keep your business prospering. We suggest you consult your accountant to go over the tax credits so you don’t over sell what your customer may get back.
