The question has been asked … can FostaPex be used as a return line within the cabinet of baseboard? Yes, however care must be taken that the tube is not allowed to rest on any metal surfaces (hangers). Either plastic hangers should be installed or some kind of plastic coating should be applied to the hangers protection. FostaPex can be bent and will hold its shape, and has a limited expansion rate similar to that of copper. The form stability of FostaPex dramatically reduces expansion noise and water hammer.
