NEW MODELS ADDED TO RHEEM SEREGEN GENERATOR LINE

RHEEM Air Conditioning Division has expanded its Home Generator line with the addition of the SEREGEN 50 and SEREGEN 400 generators. These additions allow our contractors to provide automatic emergency standby power for all customer needs – small to big!

The SEREGEN 50 (model GEN10AD) is a 10 kilowatt generator designed for the “small” jobs. Offering more capacity than most portable residential models, the GEN10AD provides the feature of fully automatic operation – no hand-cranking when the power is already out. The matching transfer switch (TS509C) that detects the power outage and starts the generator offers 9 circuits for essential requirements. For either LP or natural gas applications, the GEN10AD comes with a three year limited warranty.

For the “big” jobs, RHEEM now offers the SEREGEN 400 series of generators. These are liquid-cooled models that feature a GM “VORTEK” engine that can supply enough back-up energy to power TWO 5-ton a/c systems – perfect for the demands of today’s larger homes – as well as essential household needs. The GEN30WL (LP) and GEN27WN (natural) models provide 30 and 27 KW of power and the GEN45WL (LP) and GEN42WN (natural) generate 46 and 42 KW. The required transfer switch for the SEREGEN 400 generators is the TS200ADW. A Power Management System upgrade (71035) with computer-controlled technology that enables the SEREGEN 400 models to provide the same power as most other brands’ 60 KW units is available.

These additions to the SEREGEN 100, 200 and 300 generator lines allow you to offer automatic standby power for ALL size jobs. Your customers who lost power in the recent summer thunderstorms are perfect possibilities for generator business – especially with the (BRRR!) cold, stormy winter just around the corner!
